Which Type Of Powerflex Bushes Do You Require? Before you order these brilliant Powerflex bushes just ask yourself what you want them to achieve?

If you're replacing old, worn or poor quality original parts and want better road handling, less tyre wear and increased safety, then the Purple, Yellow and Red 'Powerflex Road Series' bushes are for you.

If you intend to use your car on track days and at race meetings then the 'Powerflex Black Series' bushes should be your choice. These Black bushes are stiffer than the 'Road Series' versions and this will create an increased level of vibration throughout the car, which is why we do NOT recommend them for daily driving on the road!

The kit contains the following Fitment notes which are relevant to the items within it. PFR1-211BLK - The centre sleeve for this bush has been supplied to original factory dimensions, however the centre pin on your De Dion tube may well be worn. This means the new sleeve may be a loose fit. Modification work may be required to ensure a tight fit of the centre stainless sleeve to the original.

Bushes are one of the most highly stressed components fitted to a car. They undergo enormous strain, in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. Conventional rubber bushes deteriorate with age allowing movement of suspension components and geometry. This can cause tyre wear, braking instability and poor handling and engine deflection.

Powerflex Bushes are made from a technologically advanced polyurethane plastic compound. This compound overcomes the common problem associated with harder bushes which is increased noise. By correct engineering the polyurethane compound bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than rubber bushes, but with exactly the same noise absorption properties. Unlike old technology Poly bushes any increase in vibration / harshness felt through the vehicle is normally undetectable.
