Vendeur: discountedtoyou (24.466) 99.9%, Lieu où se trouve: Hereford, Lieu de livraison: Americas, Europe, Asia, AU, Numéro de l'objet: 161717106827 PLEASE NOTE - the main item image shows both Caulerpa and Chaetomorpha side by side pictured in my own sump, but this listing is specifcally for Caulerpa Taxifolia, the lighter coloured of the two plants. as shown in the 2nd stock image. This listing is for Caulerpa ONLY, but if you see my other items for sale you will find the chaetomorpha usually available too. If you are searching for this then you probably already know the benefits that this plant can bring to your aquarium, but for the sake of those who don't, Chaetomorpha is a macro algae plant for marine environments that use the waste products of the fish as their source of nutrients, in exactly the same way as Caulerpa does. By growing this in your tank you will reduce your nitrate and phosphate levels, and create a much healthier environment for fish and corals to thrive in. It should also allow you to leave slightly longer between water changes, so will also save you quite a lot of money on salt in the long run! We grow this in conjunction with Chaetomorpha in the sump of our marine system for optimum water quality, and we also have this other macro algae available for sale under item number 161634204565 should you wish to purchase both together. This plant seems to grow best under bulbs with a colour temperature of around 6700k and they also benefit from a day/night cycle. We now grow this under 127w LED grow lights due to the size of the system (3,000+ litres) but so long as the colour temperature of the bulb is right then it will grow with much smaller laps, depending on the size of your tank and the level of your nutrients available for export. You will be sent a minimum of 150ml of this algae that is measured in a glass pot, and it will then be packed flat in a sealed post bag, then double packed inside a padded jiffy bag. As the envelope will fit through the letter box, it ensures that your order can still be delivered by the postman in the event of you not being at home to answer the door, thus reducing the chances of it sitting in the sorting office for long periods of time. Please be aware that by flattening this algae for transit it will appear much smaller than 150ml but we can happily provide photographic proof should you not be convinced of our sizing! We have successfully sent this plant all over Europe and after a bit of trial and error we have discovered that it is much better to send it without water in a damp bag than in a sealed pot of water, so please be wary of other sellers that send it out in this way (as I am sure that one of our customers in Sweden will vouch for when they opened a pot of putrid smelling rotten plant, but luckily we sent some in the usual way too and that survived without any problems!) We run a full time eBay business and we work Mon - Saturday so we can pack orders up to around 4:45pm to be sent the same day via 1st Class post to increase the chance of survival. This is a very resilient plant though and does very well in transit, but in case of any problems then we will happily send more out upon seeing proof of the dead plants.
