RARE HARDY Brothers Circa 1900 4 Inch Wide Spool Right Hand Wind Brass Faced PERFECT SPEY SALMON REEL With Turks Head Locking Screw.
Very nice, clean little used condition for age, with smooth original foot, Yellow domed ivorine handle, milled rim tension screw with strap and Turks head locking screw, straight pillars, perfect working order with lovely sound, one to use or to collect. Will take a 12 weight Spey line and 300 yards of backing with ease. Face plate stamped with Hardy oval logo and straight line Patent. This is one of the best examples of this model that we have seen, all matching numbers stamped 4 T and number 4 on Spool, Frame and Plate. This is a very desirable reel in excellent overall condition. Will be sent on a fully tracked and insured service. Complete with Hardy backing and a Number 10 Sinking Line.
