Single antique Victorian gentleman's braces or suspender, which have been produced from fine hand embroidery on red satin fabric, backed with pale pink satin fabric. The brace is hand embroidered in wool in pink and green colours in rose and leaf design ,with each end of the brace having a fine kid leather strap with fastenings, which would have attached at the back and front of the trousers. AGE Circa 1860's SIZE The brace measures 64cm (25¼") long and 6cm (2¼") wide. CONDITION The brace is in a very good condition, although there is some general discolouration to the backing fabric and wear to the leather. PLEASE NOTE - this is a single brace, and it's partner is sadly missing. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
