Le M-AUDIO KEYSTATION 88 MKIII est un contrôleur USB/MIDI léger et robuste, il se présente alors comme un idéal pour les musiciens qui ont la bougeotte et qui recherchent une solution simple et nomade pour contrôler leurs instruments virtuels, ou pour les producteurs qui souhaitent ajouter un clavier de contrôle USB/MIDI intuitif à leur home studio. Ce contrôleur est simple, puissant et idéal pour créer des sons et jouer en temps réel les VSTi compris dans la bibliothèque d'instruments virtuels du Mac ou PC après installation des plug-ins. Il est la troisième génération des Keystation à 88 touches. Il dispose de 88 notes avec touches pleines au toucher semi-lesté très naturel, sensibles à la vélocité ainsi qu'une série de contrôles simplifiés qui élargissent la gamme de notes jouables. Les capacités d'expression de ce clavier maître améliorent le flux de travail et facilitent la gestion des enregistrements.

L’installation du Keystation 88 est très facile, c’est est un plug-and-play : il ne nécessite donc pas de pilote. Il est alimenté par USB en le connectant directement à un MAC ou PC. Il prend en charge la connectivité iOS avec le kit de connexion APPLE pour appareil photo (vendu séparément) permettant ainsi de réaliser et de composer avec les applications audios de production musicale sur iPad ou autres appareils iOS.

Le Keystation 88 MK3 dispose d'une entrée pédale au format jack 6,35 mm, qui permet d'y connecter une pédale de commande externe comme la SP2 (vendue séparément), et ainsi profiter du sustain comme sur un véritable piano, et d'une sortie MIDI 5 broches permettant de contrôler un appareil MIDI externe.

Ableton Live Lite est inclus avec le Keystation 88, c’est un outil de création de musique puissant qui permet aux musiciens et producteurs de composer spontanément, d'enregistrer, de remixer, d'improviser et d'éditer des idées musicales dans un environnement audio / MIDI stable et fluide. Mais ce clavier maître est aussi livré avec le nouveau DAW MPC Beats, développé par Akai. Il propose tous les outils essentiels à la production professionnelle qui permet d’éditer des samples, mixer des pistes et de trouver n'importe quel son grâce aux moteurs de synthèse des légendaires MPC, d’enregistrer de l'audio, etc ... This controller is simple, powerful and ideal for creating sounds and playing in real time the VSTi included in the virtual instrument library of the Mac or PC after installing the plug-ins. It is the third generation of the 88-key Keystation. It has 88 notes with full keys with a very natural semi-weighted touch, velocity sensitive as well as a series of simplified controls which widen the range of playable notes. The expression capabilities of this master keyboard improve workflow and facilitate record management.

Installing the Keystation 88 is very easy, it's plug-and-play, so you don't need a driver. It is powered by USB by connecting it directly to a MAC or PC. It supports iOS connectivity with the APPLE Camera Connection Kit (sold separately) allowing you to perform and compose with music production audio apps on iPad or other iOS devices.

The Keystation 88 MK3 has a pedal input in 6.35 mm jack format, which allows you to connect an external control pedal like the SP2 (sold separately), and thus enjoy the sustain as on a real piano, and '' a 5-pin MIDI output for controlling an external MIDI device.
