leitz microscope Berek 2 diaphragm sub stage condenser for Ortholux, laborlux . This is a Leitz microscope Berek condenser for the old style black enamel microscopes, Ortholux, labolux etc. It has 2 iris diaphragms which makes if useful for some of the earlier microscopes that didn't have a diaphragm built in to the base. It will also fit the later Orthoplan and Ortholux microscopes as it has the standard Leitz dovetail condenser slider. It is in good condition for its age (it needs a clean as it has been stored a while) and the 2 centering screws, top and bottom iris diaphragms and the flip top condenser all move smoothly.
